How to use High Res

You must have Ati 9XXX or Nvidia 5XXX series or better , if you have then select il2setup.exe and change this , use opengl, have stencil buffer on, and a 32bit resolution , than open conf.ini with notepad and put this under render_opengl section set hardwareshaders=1 and water=2 for ati or water =3 or 4 for nvidia
This now calls "Perfect mod" it will drain more from your PC but graphic is much better.

CAUTION! Please be sure to back up the original config file! I tried it, it looks DAMN sexy, but it is to laggy to run on maps with a lot of planes. have the original file on hand to swap out when you dont want to use it.

The water detail on the beachs just make you want to swim! it is INSANE! I recommend you all try this out, just dont push your comp to far. I have read reviews of people using this and they have actually had things melt on their PCs haha.

that last sentance= me not doing it as Il-2runs pretty as shit w/o me trying to push it and I dot want to ruin my damn cpu.
