How to port forward (For routers)

Here i'll try to explain how you can forward your ports for hosting an game.

Ok, first of all start your internet and type: 192.168.1.1



If your parents didn't screwed it already up (Like my dad -,-), then the default name and password is: Admin
If you don't know the name and password, i can't help you further.

Now another screen shows up.



Select the tab: Appliactions & Gaming.

Fill in under ''Application'' a name in you like (Example: IL-2 Sturmovik 1946)
under start: 2100
under end: 2100
under protocol: UDP
and IP adress: 192.168.1.1
If your internet close down, try to put off your firewall, get back on internet to this screen above and undo it.

Now, click on safe settings, and if it's good you can host your own server now in IL-2 & Hyperlobby.

Any idea on how to do this with a Belkin router?

When I try it says the port #'s you entered are invalid

under start: 2100
under end: 2100

According to Welsh this could be 21000 aswell
For me it didnt work, for him it did

No, Campbell and you could host doing it this way. Welsh made the port forward 21000 and at that point he could host too. That doesnt mean everybody can host. Everybody has got to try the thing that worked for Welsh! I already tried but for me it still doesn't work

I still don't know why i can't host anymore.. it is really strange and a big shame
